What is the best way to use my membership?

The best way to use your membership is to be proactive.

We suggest keeping a Ladders resume posted so it can be searchable by the 200,000+ employers who use our site. You can import your personal resume to our Resume page, or create one using our builder. Find that feature here:

https://www.theladders.com/resume-builder/

If possible, you should be looking at the new jobs we post every day, so that you don't miss any opportunities. We recommend applying to 3-5 relevant jobs per week. Don't forget to use our Comparison Tool. This can help you decide what to highlight in your cover letter, and what positions you should take the time to apply for.

You can also set up Saved Searches. This will trigger weekly updates when new positions are posted that match your search criteria. We'll also be emailing you with relevant jobs that match your skill set during the week.

Once you land an interview, check out our News & Advice section for tips on everything from interviewing to salary negotiation. You can also use the navigation in the header to get more background information on companies that interest you, as well as any relevant salary information available. Find that here:

And if you have questions along the way, our User Experience Advocate team is here to help. To connect, click on the Live Chat button at the top right of any page after signing in.

Hours: Monday through Friday, 9am–5pm Eastern Time

Outside of business hours? No problem! Click the Live Chat button and you'll be able to type your message to us. We'll get back to you within 2 business days.

Please note: Employers that contact you through Ladders should never ask you for money, credit card information, or bank account information. If such a case arises, please send an email to help@theladders.com or open a chat with our team immediately and we will investigate the matter for you.
